  • Advertised: The Franklin Journal, on 30 Oct 1834, in Saint Albans VT. His shop was one door north of J. R. Danforth's hotel, where he noted he was ready to attend to all calls in the clock, watch and jewelry line. He repaired all things in these departments in the best possible manner and kept on hand a general assortment of articles for sale including silver and plated spoons, clocks, watches, jewelry and most other articles of this nature.

  • Partnership: Charles Wyman, in 1849-1856, in Saint Albans VT. As HUNTINGTON & WYMAN. Charles Wyman had served an apprenticeship with Foster Grow in Chelsea, Vermont, beginning in 1841. Six months after his time expired, he came to St. Albans and commenced working for A. H. Huntington. After two years as journeyman, he entered into partnership with Huntington. The partnership lasted for seven "pleasant and fairly profitable" years and in 1856 Mr. Huntington retired. Charles's brother, John Wyman, bought Huntington's interest and the new partnership commenced business under the name of C. & J. WYMAN. 16
