  Events in his life were:

  • Flynt & Fales. He was a goldsmith and lived in Boston and Cohasset. At the time of the great Boston fire, 20 March 1760, he was located on Mackerel Lane and lost personal goods valued at £32/5/4. The Suffolk Registry of Deeds has a record that John Doane of Eastham bought land and houses on School Street from the heirs of Samuel Haugh, goldsmith. 3
  • His obituary was published in the Boston Weekly News-Letter on 13 Aug 1767 in Boston MA. Referring to his death, "Goldsmith formerly of Boston, died at Island of Barbados, where for some years he had been resident." 3
