• Advertised: Connecticut Journal, in 1794. Shop located two doors west of the new College, Chapel Street, where "work in his profession would be particularly attended to," cash paid for old gold and silver, and an apprentice needed. ³

• Advertised: Connecticut Journal, in 1796. Continuing to repair watches; had large assortment of watches for sale, also all kinds of gold and silver work, beads, earrings, silver table- and teaspoons, etc, and further added, "Will thank and endeavor to please all those who may hereafter employ him." ³

• Advertised: Connecticut Journal, in 1797. His need of a journeyman. ³

• Advertised: Connecticut Journal, in 1800. Informing public in that since he had been deprived of his stand and situation in business by fire," work would be carried on at his father's shop on State Street.
